The Social Responsibility Committee ceremony crowns the winning clubs and concludes with the auction of goodness

Al-Nassr Club achieved first place in the Social Responsibility Award for the 2021-2022 sports season, for the “Your Joy is Our Victory” initiative, to receive an amount of 500,000 riyals, during the ceremony of the Social Responsibility Committee, which was held today, Wednesday, on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation in its fifteenth session.
Al-Fateh Club won the second place award, which amounts 400,000 riyals, for the “Reconciled” initiative for children with diabetes, while Ettifaq Club won the third place award, as it received an amount of 300,000 riyals, for the initiative of the Ettifaq Center for Medical Rehabilitation, which is dedicated to the rehabilitation of children. Sports injuries and accidents for members of the community.
The fourth place and its prize of 200,000 riyals went to Al-Qadisiyah Club for the “We Move” initiative, which aims to integrate players with disabilities with players of different games, while Al-Hilal achieved the fifth place and received an amount of 100,000 riyals for the initiative of Al-Hilal Community Football Academy, Which aims to help people with disabilities engage in sports and recreational activities.
The jury for the Social Responsibility Award included the Sustainable Development Advisor Faisal Al-Yousef, Amani Al-Shaalan, a sustainability expert and specialist in the field of corporate social responsibility, Dr. Maha Al-Kaltham, Professor of Strategies, former Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education at Majmaah University and a member of the Scientific Committee for Judging the Community Service Award at the university, in addition to Ibrahim Al-Matash, CEO of the National Center for Social Responsibility.
Al-Hilal fans also achieved first place and an amount of 150 thousand riyals in the ideal audience award for the 2021-2022 sports season, while the fans of Al-Ittihad club won the second place and an amount of 100 thousand riyals, while the fans of Al-Ahli club came in third place and got 50 thousand riyals, in appreciation of the Social Responsibility Committee of the SAFF for the role played by the fans through their support for teams and clubs, and also to raise the volume of competition and ideal encouragement among the fans.
The ideal audience award was based on 5 main criteria, foremost of which is the mass attendance, which constitutes 40% of the total evaluation, as this criteria is based on the statistics provided by the Saudi Professional League regarding the total mass attendance of clubs throughout the sports season, while 25% of the evaluation points came in the second criteria of public discipline according to the number of disciplinary violations issued by the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee against the fans of each club throughout the season.
The third criteria, which constitutes 15%, is related to the club’s submission of one initiative that the public benefited from or contributed to in its implementation in cooperation with the clubs in the areas of maintaining the stadium environment, assistance in organizing and volunteering services, or supporting discipline and exemplary encouragement, this criteria is evaluated by members of the Social Responsibility Committee of the SAFF.
The fourth criteria, which constitutes 15%, was related to the vote of the sports fans through the official Saudi Arabian Football Federation website to choose the best effective and influential club audience, while 5% of the evaluation rate went to the fifth criteria, which relates to the audience councils and their organizational link with the clubs, and the clubs’ recognition of the representatives of those councils and presentation a list of its presidents.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a charity auction was held, during which 3 pieces were offered for a charitable auction between representatives of social responsibility, as Al-Nassr Club purchased the player Khaled Al-Zailai's shirt for 150 thousand riyals, where the money of the auction went to the player's sons, may God have mercy on him.
While the Yelo League for first division clubs bought Yara’s cancer-fighting ball for 150,000 riyals, as the money from the auction went to the girl, while Saud bin Khaled Al-Thubaiti bought the national team shirt “National Day copy” for 170,000 riyals, as the money of the auction went to "Friends of Players" Charity Association.
