
Launching the First Phase of Enabling National Coaches Initiative

The Technical Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, announced launching the first phase of enabling national coaches to work in second division league clubs initiative, as the SAFF will bear their monthly salaries, starting from January 2020.
The SAFF approved this step, with the support of His Highness the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Sport Authority, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, who blessed this step during the meeting held by His Highness with the presidents of the clubs of second division league on Monday, in Riyadh.
The Technical Committee targets from this initiative to enable national coaches to work, regardless of their coaching status, to earn more technical experience, according to the standards which will be announced, in the coming days.
For his part, president of the Board of Directors of the SAFF Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Sport Authority, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal for blessing of this step, which confirms his continued support to Saudi football.
