On Wednesday, the eighth round of the Saudi Second Division League 2022-2023 was concluded, as Al-Taraji maintained the top spot in Group A, while Bisha suffered its first defeat this season to remain at the top of Group B, but with a goal difference from Al-Najma.

Al-Taraji returned from the stadium of its host, Al-Diriyah, with a goal scored by Abdul Majeed Haddadi, to raise its score to 19 points in the lead, while Al-Diriyah's balance stopped at 8 points in 12th place.
Al-Bukairiyah continued to chase Al-Taraji with a 2-1 victory over its guest Tuwaiq, as the hosts' goals scored by Abdul Majeed Muhammad Al-Hussein and Khaled Al-Hazmi, while the player Wajdi Ahmed Al-Majri scored for the guests, so Al-Bukayriyah raised its score to 16 points in second place, while Tuwaiq's balance stopped at 12 points in seventh place.

Al-Intisar defeated its guest, Arar, 2-1, as Maher Daoud scored the two goals of the hosts, while Shehab Al-Jabali scored the only goal of the guests, bringing Al-Intisar to 6 points in 15th place, while Arar's balance stopped at 12 points in sixth place.
Hittin defeated its guest, Al-Qaws, with a goal, scored by Raul Lula, to raise Hittin's score to 11 points in eighth place, while Al-Qaws' balance stopped at 7 points in 13th place.
With the same result, Jerash defeated its guest Qilwa, as the only goal of the match was scored by Vanilson de Lima Silva, bringing Jerash's tally to 11 points in ninth place, while Qilwa remained without any victory, with two points in 16th place.
A 1-1 draw ended Al-Sadd’s match with Al-Nahda, as goals scored by Al-Sadd player Anil Bakaki, before Meshary Sami drew for Al-Nahda, to raise Al-Sadd’s score to 10 points in tenth place, while Al-Nahda’s balance rose to 6 points in 14th place.

The leaders, Bisha, received their first defeat this season, after they fell at the stadium of their host, Al-Jeel, with a score of 1-2, as the two goals of the hosts were scored by Thamer Al-Arjan, while Simon Oscar Tahi scored the only guest goal, so Al-Jeel raised its score to 12 points in seventh place, while Bisha’s balance stopped at 19 points. .
Al-Najma won over its guest Al-Sharq with two goals, scored by Muhannad Al-Shadokhi and Rayan Al-Mutairi, so Al-Najma raised its score to 19 points to rival Bisha in the lead, but the latter tops with the goal difference, while Al-Sharq's balance stopped at 6 points in 12th place.
Al-Safa defeated Al-Ansar 2-1, as the hosts' goals scored by Adnan Al-Wardi and Muhammad Ibrahim Owaishi, while Anas Al-Juhani scored for the guests, so Al-Safa raised its score to 14 points in third place, while Al-Ansar’s balance stopped at 13 points, falling to fourth place.
A goalless draw decided the match between Al-Nairiya and Al-Kawkab, so Al Nairiya raised its score to 13 points in fifth place, with a goal difference from Al Kawkab, which is ranked sixth.
With the same result, Al-Zulfi’s match with Al-Rayyan ended, bringing Al-Zulfi's score to 11 points in eighth place, while Al-Rayyan’s balance rose to 5 points in 16th place.
Al-Rawda returned from the stadium of its host Waj with a goal scored by Ibian Ifani, to raise Al-Rawda's score to 10 points in ninth place, with a difference in goals from Waj, which fell to tenth place.
Sajer drew with its guest Al-Shuaib without goals, bringing Sajer's score to 6 points in 14th place, while Al-Shuaib's balance rose to 8 points in 11th place.
Al-Washm scored its first victory this season, after beating its guest, Al-Soqor, with two goals, scored by Hamad Al-Aqili and Muhammad Yahya Al-Taj, to raise its score to 5 points in 15th place, while Al-Soqor's balance stopped at 6 points in 13th place.
At the end of the eighth round, Ankpino Christopher Addo, Al-Jandal player, maintained his lead of the scorers' list with 8 goals, two more than his pursuer Simon Oscar Tahi, Bisha player.
