Al-Wahda and Al-Fayha are the first to reach the quarter-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup

Today, Tuesday, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup 2022-2023 kicked off, with two matches in the round of 16.

Al-Wahda booked the first quarter-finals seat after defeating its host, Damac, with a goal scored by Anselmo de Moraes in the 82nd minute of the match.

In the quarter-finals, Al-Wahda will await the winner of Al-Batin match with Al-Raed, scheduled for next Thursday.

Al-Fayha started the campaign to defend its title by defeating its guest, Al-Khaleej, 3-1, at Al-Majmaah Sports City Stadium.

Ali Al Zaqan, Muhammad Abu Saban and Sultan Mendash scored for the hosts in the 30th, 45+1 and 90+6 minutes, respectively, while Sokol Tsekaleshi scored Al-Khaleej's only goal in the 19th minute.

In the quarter-finals, Al-Fayha awaits the winner of the Al-Ittihad match with Al-Shabab, which is scheduled for Thursday at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the round of 16 of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup will continue with 3 matches, as Abha will face Al-Taawoun at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha, and Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Malaz will also host Al-Hilal match with Ettifaq, while Al-Nassr faces Al-Adalah at Marsool Park Stadium in Riyadh.
