Al-Sir Club wins the SAFF Futsal Cup

Today, Friday, the member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Turki Al-Sultan, crowned Al-Sir team with the SAFF Futsal Cup for the 2021-2022 sports season in its third edition.

Al-Sir won the title after defeating Masadahh 6-2 in the final match that took place between them today at the Ministry of Sports Hall in Riyadh.

Imad Ghamari (two goals), Sufyan Al-Bashir (two goals), Abdul Rahman Al-Hamdan and Abdullah Al-Aqili scored for Al-Sir, while Yahya Aji and Abdullah Al-Wahaibi scored for Masadahh.

Masadahh qualified for the final match after defeating Al-Thuqbah in the round of 16, before defeating Ettifaq in the quarter-finals and then defeating Al-Nahda in the semi-finals.

On the other hand, Al-Sir qualified for the final match through a journey that started by defeating Al-Alamein in the round of 16, then Al-Faw in the quarter-finals, before defeating Al-Qadisiyah in the semi-finals.

It is noteworthy that Al-Qadisiyah won the title of the first edition of the 2019-2020 season, while Ettifaq won the title of the second edition of the 2020-2021 season.
