SAFF launches the women's under 17 national team

Today, Thursday, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced the launch of the women's under 17 national team, led by Croatian coach Stella Gutal.
The first camp for the U-17 national team kicked off today, Thursday, in Riyadh, and will continue until next Saturday, February 4, while the second camp will start from 9-11 of the same month, in preparation for the upcoming events.
the women's under 17 national team players conducted their first training session under the supervision of the Croatian coach Stella Gutal, who summoned 28 players: Batool Al Nasser, Rand Al-Zahrani, Lilian Al-Harbi, Jana Al-Mojel, Munira Al-Ghanam, Fajr Saad, Jana Salama, Maria Baghfar, Lulwa Musa, Nof Al-Atawi, Hana Ismail, Dima Sheikh, Diala Al-Sabban, Suhair Batouq, Layan Al-Yafei, Majd Al-Otaibi, Maya Al-Zahrani, Lama Al-Rumaizan, Fajr Saqqaf, Basma Al-Shanifi, Haya Al-Sheikh, Lulu Al-Jaweni, Fatima Mansour, Hessa Al-Qabbani, Lian Sarsar, Lulu Saleh, Hala Al-Shudoukhi Ghadi Al-Otaibi.
It is noteworthy that the list of the national team in the camp includes 6 players from the Women’s Premier League, and 5 players participating in the Women’s First Division League, while there are 13 players from regional training centers from various regions of the Kingdom.
For her part, the member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, general supervisor of women’s football department, Lamia bint Ibrahim bin Bahian, praised the boom in the women’s football sector in the Kingdom, which enjoys generous support from the wise leadership and the Board of Directors of the SAFF.
Alia Al-Rasheed, Director of the Women's Football Department in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, affirmed the SAFF's keenness to harness all capabilities in order to move forward towards achieving achievements for women's football in the near future. She also mentioned that the women's U-17 national team was established after several stages of performance tests for players coming from regional training centers and school leagues, as well as standing on the levels of under 17 players who play in the Women's Premier League and the First Division League.
