The Constituent Assembly of the Second Division League Clubs chooses Al-Dehaimi as a president

The Second Division League Clubs Association chose today, Thursday, Abdul Mohsen bin Abdullah Al-Dehaimi, as a new president, during the constituent assembly of the association, which was held in Riyadh.

The constituent assembly of the association was held under the chairmanship of the Assistant Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Ibrahim Al-Qabba, and in the presence of 30 representatives of the second-division league clubs, and the absence of representatives of Al-Kawkab and Al-Intisar clubs.

During the assembly, the agenda of the meeting was approved, and the appointment of Abdulaziz Al-Hanaya and Youssef Al-Arini as independent observers for the meeting, was approved.

It was also approved to adopt the statute, which was sent to the clubs during the last period to express observations and opinions for discussion during the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Qabba praised the generous support of the wise leadership for the sports sector in general and football in particular, which resulted in many achievements of Saudi football during the recent period.

Al-Qabba stressed that SAFF support second division clubs, which was reflected in the keenness of the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to meet with representatives of the league before the start of the season to discuss overcoming any obstacles that they might face during the season.

Al-Qabba stressed that the Second Division Clubs League has its first goal in the interest of the clubs, pointing out that the League clubs are the most important element of the success of this League, praising at the same time the levels provided by the clubs in the Second Division League, which confirms that the establishment of the League will be built on solid ground guarantees excellent results soon.

Al-Qabba indicated that the SAFF's secretariat will address the clubs in order to nominate the members of the association's council in charge of running the association until the general assembly is held.

For his part, Abdul Mohsen Al-Dehaimi thanked the members of the Constituent Assembly of the League for giving him their confidence in assigning him as President of the League until the General Assembly convenes, thanking the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, members of the Council and the Secretary-General for the great support for the project to establish a League for second-division clubs, praising the great role played by the SAFF's employees from various Departments for their efforts for the success of the association's work.

Al-Dehaimi praised the constructive cooperation between the clubs since the decision to appoint him as general supervisor of the league last season with the nomination of the clubs, stressing his keenness and the work team to make a quantum leap for the league to keep pace with the development in Saudi football.
