The Technical Committee, represented by the Education Department, held a workshop on building curricula for training courses for goalkeeper coaches, on on the local introductory level, and the Asian A and B levels.
The workshop was held over 3 days, with the participation of the European lecturer Ernst Joseph, the technical director of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, nasser larguet, SAFF's director of education, Dr. Yahya Al-Sharif, Assistant Technical Director Samia Al-Sassi, AFC Lecturers Jassim Al-Harbi and Hamad Al-Yami, Lecturers in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Alaa Rawas, Turki Al-Sultan, Farid Asiri and Suleiman Al-Essa, and the goalkeeper coach for the youth teams Bruno Vallatconi and the fitness coach for the youth teams David Paryak, while Mr. Jose Carpio, Technical Director of Football Development Services in AFC also participated Via video call.
Participants in the workshop contributed to presenting a vision of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's curriculum for goalkeeper courses, as the attendees agreed on the structure and topics presented in the courses, evaluation methods for learners, and approving criteria for learners, lecturers, and assistant lecturers.
In conclusion, the participants thanked the President and members of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for all the facilities provided during the workshop to achieve its desired goals.
