Yesterday, the fifth phase of the Talent Discovery Program was concluded, as it was held in Arar, under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation represented by the Technical Department, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education represented by the Saudi School Sports Federation, with the aim of discovering football talents in schools and providing them the opportunity to join sports clubs and regional training centers.
The festival, which was held at Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed Sports City Stadium, witnessed the participation of more than 140 male and female players under the supervision of a number of male and female trainers, bringing the total duration of the training program to 4 hours.
At the end of the festival, the participants were honored with souvenirs, while the talents who passed the tests will be sorted to join the Regional Training Center in Arar in order to develop their talents through professional programs that have been developed in line with the talent development track, which represents one of the pillars of the Saudi football transformation strategy.
The sixth festival is scheduled to be held in Hail region on September 20, to be followed by 10 festivals in Abha, Al-Baha, Hail, Taif, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina and Riyadh.
It is noteworthy that the technical department in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation set the ages of the participants for male students from 6 to 9 years, and the ages of female participants from 9 to 12 years.
