
The Arab Futsal Cup opening.. Saudi national team draws with Algeria and Libya beats Tajikistan

The first national futsal team drew with Algeria 4-4, today, Tuesday, in the opening of the Arab Futsal Cup, which is being hosted by Jeddah from 6 to 16 June, with the participation of Morocco, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Algeria, Palestine, Mauritania, Comoros and Tajikistan, in addition to our national team.
The tournament is being hosted by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation in Jeddah, and started today with the opening match between the national team and Algeria in the first group, while the second match saw Libya national team defeats Tajikistan 2-1 in the same group.
The Arab Cup draw that was held earlier put the national team at the top of the first group, alogside Algeria, Libya and Tajikistan, while the second group included Morocco, Comoros, Kuwait and Lebanon, while Egypt, Iraq, Palestine and Mauritania came in the third group.
The first and second placed teams from each group, in addition to the two best third placed teams, will qualify for the quarter-finals.
