The final phase of the Asian Professional Coaches Training Course (PRO) began in Abha

The sixth and final phase of the Asian Professional Coaches Training Course (PRO) was launched last Tuesday, and continues until Thursday, September 14, as it is organized by the Education Department of the Technical Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and hosted by Abha Club, in the presence of SAFF's Board of Directors member, President of the Technical Committee, Turki Al-Sultan, and the Technical Director of SAFF, Nasser larguet, Director of Education at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, member of the AFC Education Board, Dr. Yahya Al-Sharif, with the participation of 24 coaches, after the approval of the Asian Football Confederation.

The course will be co-presented by international lecturer John Peacock, who works as a lecturer for FIFA, UEFA, and AFC, and has also worked as a coach for the youth groups for all English national teams, in addition to lecturer UEFA and AFC Steve Router, former director of education for the English Football Association, in addition to lecturer for UEFA Niall Orkin, director of Education for the Irish Football Association, and shared by Saudi lecturers Khaled Al-Qaruni, Khaled Al-Farhan, Bandar Al-Ahmadi and Mushabab Ziyad.

The course includes several topics, including sports media, modern trends in AFC Champions League, a review of the technical aspects of the coaches of Rosen Saudi League, regulations for the Saudi and Asian leagues and coaches’ contracts, in addition to field applications in training and modern trends in King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs, reviewing lecturers’ visits to coaches in their clubs and others.

For his part, member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and President of the Technical Committee, Turki Al-Sultan, extended his thanks and appreciation to Abha Club for the warm reception and provision of all facilities for the success of the course.
