The Social Responsibility Committee holds a dialogue session on the role of football in developing communities

Today, Sunday, the Social Responsibility Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation held a dialogue session on the sidelines of the Club Social Responsibility Award ceremony in its fifth edition for the 2022-2023 sports season, with the participation of an elite group of officials, experts, and those interested in fields related to social responsibility.
The session that was by Mr. Sultan Al-Ghashyan witnessed the participation of the General Manager of the Saudi Center for Organ Donation, Dr. Talal Al-Qufi, the General Manager of Sports Clubs Affairs at the Ministry of Sports, the Executive Director of the Club Support Strategy, Ibtihal Al-Sayer, the Advisor to the General Supervisor, the Director of the Resources and Investment Department, and the official spokesman for King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center, Dr. Samer Al-Jaliti, Secretary-General of the West Asian Football Federation Khalil Al-Salem, member of the Board of Directors of Friends of the football players charity, Fahid Al-Dawsari, and President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Sports Marketing Association, Dr. Talal Al-Maghrabi.
Dr. Talal Al-Qufi spoke during the session about the establishment of the Saudi Center for Organ Donation, its goals and tasks, and the numbers it achieved in the past period.
Executive Director of the Clubs Support Strategy at the Ministry of Sports, Ibtihal Al-Sayer, reviewed the Ministry’s vision of the social role assigned to clubs and the impact of adding the social responsibility standard to the governance file within the club support strategy.
Dr. Samer Al-Jaliti reviewed the efforts of King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center and the opportunities available to clubs to establish partnerships and implement initiatives with the Center that serve its goals, while Secretary-General of the West Asian Football Federation, Khalil Al-Salem, spoke about WAFF's experience in social responsibility.
Fahid Al-Dawsari spoke about the impact of community partnerships between clubs and community institutions and the opportunities available in that, while Dr. Talal Al-Maghrabi spoke about the mechanisms for marketing social initiatives in clubs, and the extent to which the adoption of social responsibility programs in clubs affects their market value.
