
The SAFF holds the first Legal Football Conference in Jeddah

On Monday, December 11, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) will hold the first football legal conference in the city of Jeddah, which will be presented by a number of local and international jurists, with the aim of building effective communication between football jurists at the local and international levels.
The conference will witness 8 sessions, initiated by the Chairman of the Discipline and Ethics Committee, Bandar Al-Humaidani, who will present a session entitled “An Overview of the Discipline and Ethics Regulations,” while the second session will be presented by the Acting Director of Legal Affairs and Governance of the SAFF, Mr. Matthews Witjen, entitled “Integrity in Football.
The third session will be presented by the Chairman of the Appeals Committee, Ahmed Al-Qani’an, entitled “The Authenticity of Contemporary Digital Evidence Before the Sports Judiciary,” while the Chairman of the Dispute Resolution Chamber, Faisal Abu Khalaf, will present the fourth session, entitled “An Introductory Overview of the Dispute Resolution Chamber and Its Working Mechanism.”
The fifth session will be titled, “Regulations of Player Agents in FIFA .. Principles, Implementation, and Practical Considerations", which will be presented by the legal advisor to the Agents' Department in FIFA, Mr. Tarik Ajanovic.
The sixth session will also be presented by Mr. Marco Amezcua, Legal Advisor to the Legislation Department at FIFA, entitled “An Overview of Reforming the Player Transfer System and Updates to the Regulations”, and the seventh session will be presented by Mr. James Cutching, International Arbitrator at the CAS Court, entitled "Multiple Club Ownership in Football ..Facts, figures and its governance,” while Abdulaziz Al-Aujan, Director of Player Status and Registration Department, concludes the conference sessions with a session entitled “Obligations of the Professional Manager.”
The Legal Department of the SAFF invited representatives of "Roshen" Saudi Professional League clubs and a number of specialists in sports law.
