
Launching a talent discovery program for boys and girls in the city of Hafar Al-Batin

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the tenth phase of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Football for Schools programme for boys and girls to discover talents, will begin in the city of Hafr Al-Batinon the Al-Batin Club stadiums, which is organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), represented by the Technical Administration, and will last for two days.
It aims to discover football talents in schools and provide them with the opportunity to join sports clubs and regional training centers.
The festival comes within the efforts of the SAFF to achieve the goals of the Saudi football transformation strategy, which relied on 7 pillars, the most prominent of which is the path of talent development.
Among its goals is organizing more than 50 competitions for various age groups by the year 2025, which contributes to the creation of a national team that will be among the top 20 teams by the year 2034.
The festival is scheduled to be held in 5 upcoming cities: Abha, Al-Jawf, Dammam, Al-Baha, and Medina.
Hafar Al-Batin is the tenth city in which the festival will be held, where the nominated participants will be received by the Education Department in the city of Hafr Al-Batin, where they will undergo performance tests, on which talents will be evaluated according to criteria determined by the Technical Administration.
