Social Responsibility workshop with Ministry of Labor takes place in the presence of Professional Clubs

The Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee, of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, held a workshop, at Saturday afternoon, in cooperation with the department of social responsibility in the Ministry of Labor and Development and with the participation of the representative of professional clubs in addition to those who are interested in this field.
The workshop witnessed discussion on several topics such as volunteerism and the importance of football clubs participation, in addition to an explanation of establishing civil institutions and communities for the clubs, which is one of joint initiatives between the SAFF and the ministry, then the workshop was concluded with an interactive dialogue between the representatives of the clubs participating.
For his part, Nazih Al-Nassr, the chairman of the Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee in the SAFF, confirmed the SAFF is happy to host the first workshop of social responsibility, pointing out that this is the first step to activate partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Al-Nassr said that the SAFF in collaboration with the ministry to carry out social work and develop programs and plans to develop it, to cope with the Saudi sports witness at all levels.
In the same context, undersecretary of development, Mr. Soliman Al-Zobn revealed that the The ministry is working on a number of initiatives which are considered important and possible tributary of social responsibility, including supporting non-profit sector growth, volunteering and social investment, as the social development agency also contributes to establishing associations responsible for social responsibility in a number of regions of the Kingdom.
"We aspire to establish different sporting communities that are concerned with sports and youth groups, as well private sports clubs associations and civil institutions play different developmental roles.", Al-Zobn added.
