The winning clubs of the first and second quarters of the Social Responsibility Award announced

Al-Fateh, Al-Fayhaa and Al-Taqadum clubs respectively won the first three places for the first quarter of the Club Social Responsibility Award for the current sports season 2023-2024, which represents the months (October, November, December) based on the sports season calendar of the Governance Initiative file of the Ministry of Sports for the current season.
Al-Ittifaq, Al-Adala and Al-Khaleej Clubs won the first three places in a row in the second quarter of the award for the evaluation period associated with the months (January, February, March) based on the same calendar associated with the initiative.
During the award ceremony last season, the Social Responsibility Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) announced the launch of 3 awards for each quarter, in addition to the annual award ceremony, with the aim of further motivating clubs for social responsibility actions and initiatives, in addition to the introduction of the Social Responsibility Stars Award, dedicated to players, which will be held at the end of the current sports season.
62 clubs participated in the first quarter, during which they implemented 360 initiatives, while 63 clubs participated in implementing 355 initiatives during the second quarter evaluation period.
The first quarter witnessed Al-Fateh achieving first place for its initiative (Live Responsibility), through which it performed a group of vision correction surgeries for some girls from the orphan category, while Al-Fayhaa achieved second place for its (I See You Are Pink) initiative, which effectively contributed to highlighting the importance of performing initial examinations, to detect breast cancer, while third progress came from the initiative (providing devices for patients), through which the club contributed to providing some medical supplies for home medicine patients.
During the evaluation period for the second quarter, Al-IttifaqClub achieved the first place award for the “Our Agreement is Green” initiative, in which it prepared a group of people with physical special needs to participate in the Special Olympics in Judo, while Al-Adala came second with the “Power Girl” initiative, through which the club presented a training program for girls, in a group of different games at the club, while Al Khaleej came third for the (Foundation Day) initiative, during which it launched a celebration that included a number of activities for the people of Saihat coinciding with this precious occasion.
For his part, Member of the Board of Directors of the SAFF and Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee, Nazih Al-Nasr, expressed his happiness with the efforts made by the clubs in order to activate social responsibility through purposeful and influential activities and programs that contributed to achieving the goals of our ambitious nation’s vision aimed at building a vibrant society that enjoys high levels of social responsibility, patterns of quality of life, indicating that the awards supervised by the committee are evidence of the desire for the work to be sustainable and have an impact, pointing to the impact of these awards and their contribution to increasing competition between clubs to increase the size of their social impact.
Al-Nasr added that the quarterly social responsibility award comes in its first edition this season, complementing the award of the year, with the aim of shedding more light on the clubs’ initiatives during continuous periods of the year, which contributes to achieving the greatest benefit to society and expanding the segment of beneficiaries.
