Taif Governorate will host the Aldyar Alarabiya WAFF U19 Championship from June 25-July 5, 2024, with 12 nations competing at a tournament organised by West Asian Football Federation.

Hosts Saudi Arabia are joined by Iraq, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, Yemen, Kuwait, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and special guests Albania. Matches will be held at King Fahd Sports City and Okaz Club Stadium.

Tuesday’s draw, conducted via video communication, placed Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Yemen in Group A. Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Albania are in Group B, with Syria, Bahrain, UAE and Palestine in Group C.

Albania’s participation came at WAFF’s invitation, as part of its strategy to invite teams outside the region to participate in their tournaments. This is with the aim of increasing contact with various football schools, to greater prepare for upcoming competitions.
