Today, Thursday, Dr. Khalid bin Muqrin, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, crowned Heraa team with the Beach Soccer Classification League Cup for the 2023-2024 sports season.

Heraa was crowned champion after defeating its counterpart Al-Ettifaq with a score of 6-2 in the final match that took place today at the Royal Commission Stadium in Yanbu.

Al-Ghazwa won third place after defeating Al-Salam by a score of 6-5 in the match that brought them together today at the Royal Commission Stadium in Yanbu.

In the matches to determine the positions from fifth to eighth, Al-Taawoun team achieved fifth place after defeating its counterpart Al-Mahmal with a score of 8-7, while Al-Watan team achieved seventh place after defeating its counterpart Najd with a score of 12-4 in the two matches that took place yesterday on the same stadium.

The Beach Soccer Classification League was launched on Wednesday, June 26, with the participation of 8 clubs, namely Heraa, Al-Ettifaq, Al-Ghazwa, Al-Salam, Al-Taawoun, Al-Mahmal, Al-Watan, and Najd.

It is worth noting that the establishment of the beach soccer classification league came in preparation for the launch of the first edition of the Premier League for the next sports season 2024-2025, which comes within the course of competitions in the Saudi football transformation strategy that aims to build a competitive competition environment and build a competitive national team with a base of players who practice the game continuously.
