
Competitions Committee holds meeting with third and fourth division clubs to review National League proposal

The Competitions Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) held a meeting with representatives of third division clubs and fourth division Saudi leagues clubs to discuss ways to develop the two tournaments to serve the clubs in the coming seasons. This meeting is part of the Saudi Competitions Restructuring Project, announced in May 2024 as part of the Competitions Track of the Saudi Football Strategy.
During the meeting, the proposal to establish a National League, in which third division clubs and fourth division Saudi Leagues clubs will participate, was reviewed, along with the objectives and working mechanism.
The meeting also heard the clubs' views on technical and competitive levels, as well as aspects that would contribute to the clubs' spending efficiency.
