The SAFF Launches the Referees' Educational Platform

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has launched the Referees' Educational Platform, a digital educational resource specializing in developing referees' performance and spreading refereeing culture at the local, regional, and international levels. The platform provides more than 1,000 educational videos from matches, categorized by various refereeing situations.

The platform was developed in collaboration between the Referees' Department and the Information Technology Department at the SAFF as part of a series of electronic platforms under the MySAFF system, which provides modern digital tools that contribute to the development of work within the federation.

The platform aims to enable referees to access accurate, continuously updated educational and training content, enhancing their ability to interpret situations and make decisions in line with approved international standards.

The platform serves as a scientific reference library, allowing referees to easily search and access situations classified into six main categories: competition, penalty area, tactical fouls, handball, match management, and assistant referees. It also allows referees to re-view previously analyzed situations and review technical recommendations agreed upon by the federation's team of accredited lecturers.

The platform is not limited to referees alone; it is available to all those interested in the football ecosystem. Any user can register and access its full content to raise awareness and expand knowledge of arbitration matters.

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation is the first local association to launch a digital educational platform of this specialized level, reflecting its commitment to developing national arbitration competencies and expanding knowledge among those interested in arbitration matters. The platform also contributes to strengthening the global presence of Saudi football through reliable educational content accessible to all.
