
FIFA Selects Saudi Refereeing Team to officiate in FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025

FIFA announced the selection of a Saudi refereeing team to officiate the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025, scheduled to be held in Chile from September 27 to October 19.
The Saudi team includes international referee Khaled Al-Turais as the referee, in addition to Abdulrahim Al-Shammari and Mohammed Al-Abkari as assistant referees.
This selection reflects the continued confidence that the FIFA has placed in Saudi refereeing.
For his part, Yasser Al-Misehal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), congratulated the selected referees, wishing them success in their upcoming assignments. He emphasized that this selection reflects the support and empowerment the Saudi refereeing sector is witnessing at all levels, as well as the tangible development it is witnessing, in addition to the Federation's ongoing efforts to qualify and develop national cadres to represent the Kingdom in the most prominent continental and international forums.
