Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee praises the initiatives of the clubs during the suspension of sports activity

The Chairman of the Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Nazih Al-Nasr, praised the efforts and social initiatives made by the clubs during the suspension of sports activities due to the Corona pandemic.
Al-Nasr confirmed that the suspension period witnessed competition between clubs outside the stadium, represented by community service and communication through the creation of initiatives that have a tangible impact and benefit, which confirms that sport has other bright aspects outside the green rectangle, confirming the depth of belonging of the people of this country to their country and their society in all fields. It is an extension of the services, facilities and initiatives provided by the leadership of this noble country during the Coronavirus pandemic period.
Nazih Al-Nasr indicated that the Social Responsibility Committee seeks to highlight the efforts made by clubs in this field, based on the committee's vision, which aims to achieve leadership in supporting social development through football activity, and its mission to enhance capabilities so that social responsibility becomes part of football activity. By creating programs and initiatives that have impact and sustainability.
The committee reviewed the clubs' efforts through the Al Ittihad account on Twitter, according to what they received from the clubs.
It is noteworthy that the Committee on Social Responsibility and Public Participation had announced a special award for social responsibility for clubs, and approved the criteria for that award and circulated them to all clubs, and its results will be announced at the end of the current sports season.
