The second edition of the SAFF Women's Second Division League will kick off next November, featuring clubs and private academies from across the country. This continues the expansion of women's football competitions and strengthens their competitiveness at the local level.

The tournament will run from November 6, 2025, to February 19, 2026, with 16 teams participating: Manjam Al Mawaheb, Al Jawad, Al Artawi, Al Shams, Al Hijaz, Al Qunfudhah, Hattin, Al Sawari, Al Hikma, Golden Legends Academy, Al Ain, Golden Eagles, Qalwa, Khaybar, Wa'i Academy, and Al Najm Al Saheli.

The new edition will feature an improved competition format, as the group stage matches will be held in a centralized location in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Baha, and Jazan, with teams playing home-and-away matches.

Eight teams will then advance to the final stage, which will be a knockout tournament.

The two finalists and the third-place finisher will qualify for the Women's First Division League next season, a move aimed at strengthening promotion pathways and increasing the level of competition among participating teams.

It is worth noting that Najma Jeddah won the title in the previous edition of the Women's Second Division League and qualified for the First Division League.

The new edition is being held amidst expectations of enhanced competition and a higher level of participation, given the continuous increase in the number of players, clubs, and academies across the Kingdom.
