
Tresaco takes charge of SAFF's Referees' Committee

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, issued a decision to appoint, Spaniard Fernando Tresaco as a chairman of the SAFF's Referees Committee.
Tresaco's appointment, came for his previous experiences and curriculum vitae and long history in officiating which extends for more than 30 years.
Tresaco took charge of a number of administrative positions in FIFA, as he was the director of refereeing department, in 2004 - 2007, and the general director of referees' development department from 2008 to 2016, in addition to working as referees’ commissioner in UEFA, from 2001 until 2003 and finally organizing the Asian Football Confederation Academy.
Tresaco, who was born in 1955, as he took part in a lot of important matches, like: 1998 FIFA World Cup opening game, Uefa Champions League final in 1996, in addition to taking part in a great number of important tournaments, matches and finals.
