The Hamad Al-Kharboush evaluators' Course kicked off today, Sunday, in the presence of Spanish Fernando Tresaco, the Chairman of the Referees Committee of the SAFF, and Manuel Navarro the Director of the Swiss Arbitration Department, and Youssef Mirza, the Vice-Chairman of the Committee overseeing residents' affairs, with the participation of 61 residents.
The session, which is held in Riyadh, lasts for two days and includes a number of tests and lectures, an explanation of the recent amendments in the football law, and discussion of match reports after the amendments. Instructions for evaluating the referees of the video assistant referee (VAR) will also be provided.
On the sidelines of the opening of the session, the former international referee and evaluator of rulers Abdul Rahman Al-Mutham was honored in appreciation of his efforts made over the past years as a referee, evaluator and administrator in the Referees Committee.
It is noteworthy that naming the tournament in the name of international referee and evaluator Hamad Al-Kharboush, "may God have mercy on him", comes in appreciation of his sports career in general and what he presented to Saudi arbitration in particular.
