The draw for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the 2020-2021 sports season was held this evening, Monday, at the Saudi Airlines Club in Jeddah, in the presence of representatives of the 16 clubs participating in the tournament, which represent the Prince Muhammad Bin Salman Professionals Cup League.
The ceremony began with the National Anthem, then Khalid Al-Thubaiti, the Vice President of the SAFF thanked the wise leadership for the unlimited support foe the football and sports sector in general in Saudi Arabia, praising at the same time the continuous follow-up of His Highness the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and the great work and effort that the ministry provides for the success of sporting events in the Kingdom.
Al-Thubaiti thanked Saudi Airlines, the Football Association's partner and the host of the draw ceremony, for the good organization and arrangement, and also all the staff from the SAFF.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup draw resulted in the following matches:
1- Al-Wehda x Al-Ittihad
2- Al-Hilal x Al-Fateh
3- Damak x Al-Taawoun
4-Al-Qadisiyah x Al-Shabab
5- Al-Nassr x Al-Raed
6- Al-Ahli x Al-Ain
7- Ettifaq x Al-Faisaly
8- Al-Batin x Abha
The round of 16 matches will be held on December 14 and 15, with the time for the matches to be set at a later time.
Naim Al-Bakr, The chairman of the Competitions Committee, explained that the draw for this year’s competition was opened and without specifying levels between clubs, extending his thanks and appreciation to all clubs for their cooperation and wishing all success.
