The Saudi Arabian Football Federation Referees Committee held its third periodic meeting of the season, headed by Manuel Navarro, the Swiss director of Arbitration Department, and in the presence of 47 referees.
During the meeting, a number of cases and arbitration decisions in the matches of the third round of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League were reviewed.
The Director of Arbitration Department praised the levels presented by the referees during the past rounds, calling on them to make more efforts to present the true picture of the Saudi referee, and the experiences gained during the past period, wishing them success in the upcoming matches, explaining that strengthening the level of Saudi referee and permanently correcting mistakes Is essential in the continuous development of the arbitration system.
Navarro added: "Refereeing errors are part of the game all over the world, and our goal is to face these errors with high transparency and work to avoid them, and this will be inevitable for the methodology of arbitration work, as the goal is the success of the arbitration system in the Football Association."
The Swiss affirmed that the committee works continuously with all clubs, listens to their observations, visits them periodically, and exchanges views on what serves Saudi football.
