Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, and in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University of Hail, Dr. Khalil bin Ibrahim Al-Brahim, the President of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Khaled bin Saleh Al-Muzaini, and the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Professor Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal, and a number From federal officials.
King Abdulaziz bin Musaed Sports City in Hail will host the final match of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation League (for the tenth season), which brings together the teams of Hail University and King Faisal University.
The event represents the first cooperation between the Saudi Football Associations and the University to launch a partnership that serves the nation's sport and contributes to achieving the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
King Faisal University will enter the final match as the champion of the last edition (the ninth season), while Hail University is looking for its first title in the Universities League after the two teams reached the final match after Hail University beat the Jizan University team in a penalty shootout, while the King University team qualified Faisal, after defeating the team of Al-Jouf University with four clean goals, within the league whose matches were held in a home-and-away manner, with the participation of 345 students representing 11 universities, in which the Jazan University team won the third place.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Universities Sports Federation organizes two football leagues, where the universities were divided into two classes (B) and (A), where 126 students participated in the (B) League representing five Saudi universities and colleges, and the championship was achieved by King Saud University and Prince Sattam bin University came Abdul Aziz won second place, while Shaqra University came third, while the final in which Hail University and King Faisal University will face is the final of the Category (A) tournament.
The launch of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation League dates back more than ten years, as its first season was launched in 1431 AH with the participation of 26 Saudi universities, as part of the continuous plans of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, which is considered an Olympic committee and has permanent expansion plans in its programs and activities and is keen to achieve the principle of parity The opportunities sought for by both genders from the Kingdom's young men and women, with all levels of sports and physical abilities.
The Saudi Universities Sports Federation has the support of the Saudi Football Association, including its assignment of a number of official referees to manage the activities of the Sports Federation of Universities in various activities and sports, and the lines of cooperation extend to enabling the Saudi Universities Sports Federation to use the facilities of the Ministry of Sports in various regions of the Kingdom.
