
Announcement of the launch of the Ambassadors Club for Social Responsibility in Saudi Football

The Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee of the Saudi Football Association announced the launch of the Social Responsibility Ambassadors Club in Saudi Football.
It is decided that the club will include in its membership a group of stars of our national teams who have contributed to the achievement of the Asian championships, or participated in the World Cup finals at the level of the first team, in addition to the players who participated in the achievement of the 1989 World Cup for juniors, provided that the committee organizes the mechanism of joining For this club, define their activities and events.
This initiative comes from the committee’s desire to create an appropriate environment for soccer stars to participate in social events, activities and initiatives, to harness the stardom of players to raise some moral values, and to shed light on some important societal issues such as health, environmental, volunteer and awareness issues.
For his part, Chairman of the Social Responsibility and Public Participation Committee, Nazih Al-Nasr, affirmed that this initiative will contribute to integrating the sport of football into all developmental, charitable, youth and social activities, in addition to activating the individual social responsibility of football stars.
Al-Nasr added that this initiative comes in the context of initiatives that are in line with the committee's basic objectives in activating social responsibility through football.
