The Professionalism and Player Conditions Committee of the Saudi Football Association held 3 workshops with representatives of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional League clubs, and representatives of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman League clubs for the first degree, and clubs of the second division, at the headquarters of the Saudi Football Federation over a period of 3 days, starting from The day before yesterday, Tuesday, and concluded today, Thursday.
During the workshops, which were moderated by the Executive Director of the Committee, Abdulaziz Al-Aujan, the system for updating player contracts was explained in preparation for the summer registration period for the 2021-2022 sports season.
For his part, the head of the Professionalism Committee and Players Conditions Jaber Al-Juhani said that the committee is keen to upgrade the work system in line with the regulations of the International Football Association (FIFA) by introducing a special registration system through which contracts are renewed and extended and the player’s status changed from an amateur to a professional in the same club. The TMS system is limited to the cases assigned to it, which is to match the transfer of players between clubs, internationally and domestically.
Al-Juhani appreciated the great support the committee received from the board of directors of the Saudi Football Association and the information technology department of the association.
The head of the Professionalism Committee confirmed the committee's keenness to meet with club registration officials to explain the system through a practical application of how it was used in order to avoid any difficulties they might encounter during the registration period.
