
SAFF reshapes the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation reshaped the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee headed by Bandar bin Abdulhadi Al-Hamidani, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Fadhli as deputy, and the membership of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Rashoud, Thamer bin Abdullah Al-Hamoud, and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Muhammad Al-Misnad.
The board of directors of the SAFF had accepted the apology of the committee’s chairman, Majed Al-Areni, and the resignation submitted by his deputy, Abdulaziz Al-Arifi, and the members Talal Al-Qahtani, Faisal Al-Daoud, and Muhammad Al-Rasheed, giving them a heartfelt thanks for their work during the previous period.
SAFF re-formed the committee, based on the fourth paragraph of Article 35 of the statute of the Saudi Federation, which states the powers of the board of directors to appoint the heads of judicial committees, their deputies and members, and reconstitute them, according to the requirements of the interest, provided that the re-formation is approved by the members of the General Assembly in accordance with paragraph 11 of Article 23.
Bandar Al-Hamidani, the new head of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, holds a master’s degree in international sports law, and has many local and international experiences, in addition to being a certified arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne “CAS”, and a member of the Legal Committee of the Asian Football Confederation, along with a number of Memberships in sports law.
