SAFF honors achievers national coaches

Tomorrow, Tuesday, in the Great Hall of the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, represented by the Technical Committee, will hold a ceremony honoring the achievers national coaches during the previous two sports seasons 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.

The Technical Committee holds this ceremony to support the national coaches in local competitions and national teams, and to appreciate the achievers coaches in national teams and local competitions.

The committee clarified in its statement issued in August 2019 that all coaches in all their technical specialties are eligible for honoring, whether the technical staff is led by a non-national or entirely national.

The technical committee had set 3 criteria for selecting the achievers national coaches, which are:
- promoting to a higher division or qualifying for an external tournament
- winning one of the championships of the season
- winning a championship with the national teams or winning a position qualifying for a continental or international championship

The ceremony was planned to be held during the 2019-2020 sports season but was postponed due to Coronavirus pandemic, as the technical committee preferred that the honor be in person and not from a distance, in appreciation of what they presented in the past two seasons.
