Al-Nassr's women's team is preparing for two upcoming regional and continental competitions, by participating in the 2026 West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Women's Championship, hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and in the preliminary round of the 2026-2027 AFC Women's Champions League, as this reflects the growing presence of Saudi clubs on the Asian stage.
The draw for the WAFF Women's Championship placed Al-Nassr in Group B alongside:
* Al-Hilal (Syria)
* Naft Al-Shamal (Iraq)
Al-Nassr will begin their campaign against Al-Hilal on July 28, followed by a match against Naft Al-Shamal on July 30. The group stage will conclude on August 1. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
At the Asian level, Al-Nassr was drawn into Group E (E) of the preliminary round of the 2026–2027 AFC Women’s Champions League, alongside:
* Pam Khatoon (Iran)
* Al-Ittihad (Jordan)
* CSKA Dushanbe (Tajikistan) (hosts)
The preliminary round matches are scheduled to take place from August 17–23, with the top team from each group advancing to the group stage of the continental tournament.
The official schedule for Al-Nassr’s matches in the preliminary round of the AFC Women’s Champions League, including match dates and times, will be announced in August, prior to the start of the continental competition.
Alia Al-Rashid, Director of Women’s Football, stated: “These participations represent an important milestone in the development of Saudi women’s football and an opportunity to enhance the presence of our clubs on the Asian and regional stage. We wish Al-Nassr every success in representing the nation and delivering performances that reflect the progress and competitiveness of Saudi women’s football.
