The SAFF's Election Committee begins accepting candidates’ applications for its sixth term

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Board of Directors Election Committee for its sixth term began accepting candidates’ applications today, Wednesday, until Saturday, August 1, according to the election schedule announced last Thursday.
Candidates can submit their applications during this period.
The Election Committee will begin reviewing the candidate lists from Sunday, August 2, until Friday, August 7.
The preliminary list of candidates will be announced on Saturday, August 8. The Sports Arbitration Center will receive appeals and objections to the lists from August 9 to 13, with rulings issued between August 15 and 23. The results of the appeals rulings will be announced on Monday, August 24.
Tuesday, August 25, is set to be the last day for candidates to withdraw, while the final lists of candidates will be announced on Wednesday, August 26.
The election campaigns will then begin the following day and continue until Saturday, August 29, with the elections to be held during the extraordinary general assembly meeting of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
